Woodburn

Chuck, John and their three adorable, spunky and cuddly French Bulldogs will soon enjoy a modern version of a ranch home that sensitively replaces the ranch that previously lived on the site. The neighborhood they live in is full of 1950s and 60s ranch-style homes, and it was important to Chuck and John that the new house fit in with the surrounding houses.

The house sits atop a small hill which creates a comfortable separation between it and the street below. The H-shaped one-story’s entire middle section is glass on the front and back, and the bedroom, den and studio wings hug a courtyard-like space with a pool, large covered area and yard/garden beyond for grilling, chilling and puppy dog thrilling.

John C. Sanders Company built the home. Xylem fabricated and installed the millwork. John and Chuck moved in fall 2023 and have been enjoying the space they so thoughtfully helped design.
